wrthAMILLION is the creative identity of Amil Bates, a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Toledo, Ohio. He is a graduate of the University of Toledo’s BFA program with a concentration in Graphic and Interactive Design. His work is rooted in love, culture, and identity, often blending photography, graphic design, and fashion into a bold and cohesive visual style.

While his work carries a strong artistic voice, he is also highly adaptable. Skilled at working across a range of visual styles and can tailor his approach to suit the needs of any brand, company, or client.

His brand Call Your Mom!, began as a personal artist tag and evolved into a heartfelt creative platform, producing apparel and posters that center emotional connection and authenticity.

Amil’s work has been exhibited in numerous shows, including the University of Toledo Billboard Exhibition (2024 and 2025), Juried Student Exhibition (2023, 2024, 2025), Carlson Library Showcase (2023 and 2024), The Secor Building Art Show (2024), The Tiny Store (2025), and his BFA Thesis Show (2025). In 2024, he was awarded First Place in the University of Toledo’s Juried Student Exhibition, recognizing the best in show.
